RETURNS, ALTERATIONS AND REFUND POLICY

1. PURPOSE
This Returns, Alterations and Refund Policy sets out the terms and conditions governing the return, exchange, alteration and refund of products purchased from Amabutho Apparel (Pty) Ltd ("Amabutho Apparel", "we", "our" or "us").
By placing an order with Amabutho Apparel, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted this Policy.
2. GENERAL PRINCIPLES
We are committed to delivering quality garments and professional tailoring services. If a product does not meet the required standard due to a manufacturing defect or error on our part, we will take reasonable steps to rectify the issue.
All returns, alterations and refund requests are subject to assessment and approval by Amabutho Apparel.
3. CUSTOM-MADE, ALTERED AND BRANDED GARMENTS
Due to the customised nature of our products, the following items are not eligible for return, exchange or refund unless defective or incorrectly supplied by Amabutho Apparel:

Custom-made garments
-
Tailored garments
-
Altered garments
-
Made-to-measure garments
-
Uniforms manufactured to client specifications
-
Embroidered garments
-
Branded garments
-
Garments bearing company logos, names or artwork
-
Special-order items
Clients are responsible for ensuring that all measurements, sizes, specifications, colours and branding approvals provided to Amabutho Apparel are accurate before production commences.
4. STANDARD RETAIL ITEMS
Subject to applicable consumer protection legislation, standard non-customised retail items may be returned within 7 (seven) days of purchase provided that:

The item is unworn and unused;

The item is in its original condition;
-
Original tags remain attached;
-
The item is accompanied by proof of purchase; and
-
The item is returned in its original packaging where applicable.
Amabutho Apparel reserves the right to inspect all returned items before approving any exchange or refund.
5. DEFECTIVE OR INCORRECT ITEMS
If a product is:
-
Defective;
-
Damaged upon delivery;
-
Incorrectly supplied; or
-
Not manufactured in accordance with approved specifications,
the client must notify Amabutho Apparel within 7 (seven) days of receiving the product.
Upon verification, Amabutho Apparel may, at its discretion:
-
Repair the item;
-
Alter the item;
-
Replace the item; or
-
Issue a refund where appropriate.
6. ALTERATION SERVICES
Where Amabutho Apparel provides alteration services:
-
Clients must inspect garments upon collection or delivery.
-
Any concerns relating to workmanship must be reported within 3 (three) business days.

Additional alterations requested after completion may be charged separately unless the adjustment is required due to an error by Amabutho Apparel.
No refunds shall be provided for completed alteration services where the work has been carried out according to the client's instructions.
7. FITTING APPROVALS
Where fittings are conducted:
-
The client is responsible for attending scheduled fitting appointments.

Approval provided during a fitting constitutes acceptance of the garment fit and specifications.

Subsequent changes requested by the client may result in additional charges.
8. CORPORATE UNIFORM ORDERS
For corporate and bulk orders:
-
Clients must approve samples, designs, branding, colours and sizing before production.
-
Once production has commenced, cancellations may not be possible.

Refunds will generally not be available for completed custom uniform orders unless there is a manufacturing defect or an error attributable to Amabutho Apparel.
9. ORDER CANCELLATIONS
Orders may only be cancelled before production has commenced.
Where production, sourcing, branding, embroidery, printing or alterations have already begun, Amabutho Apparel reserves the right to:

Refuse cancellation; or
-
Deduct costs already incurred before processing any refund.
10. REFUND PROCESS
Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method where reasonably possible.
Refunds may take between 7 and 14 business days to reflect, depending on banking processes.
Amabutho Apparel reserves the right to request supporting documentation before processing any refund.
11. NON-REFUNDABLE ITEMS
The following are non-refundable unless defective:

Custom-made garments
-
Altered garments
-
Tailored garments
-
Branded garments
-
Embroidered garments
-
Promotional or clearance items
-
Gift cards or vouchers (if applicable)

Special-order items
12. COLLECTION OF ORDERS
Clients are encouraged to inspect products upon collection.
Acceptance and collection of goods shall constitute confirmation that the goods have been received in good condition unless defects are reported within the timeframes specified in this Policy.
13. CONSUMER RIGHTS
Nothing in this Policy is intended to limit or exclude any rights afforded to consumers under applicable South African legislation, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.
